I've Got Crows... In Different Area Codes
This is a preliminary sketch of part of my new top secret art project, it follows on the theme of newest obsession: crows. I even went so far as to contemplate getting a Crow tattoo, but I eventually came to my senses. Much of my inspiration comes from one of my favorite artists, Matthew Woodson.

Yay crows! Corvids definitely make it into my "top 5" birds. The snake-eating secretary bird is my personal favorite.
Very nice sketch. I would suggest lengthing and tapering the rat's snout a bit to give it more of a triangular shape. Right now his face looks a little more like a hamster's. Here's a decent side view reference for a rat's head: http://www.ratical.org/ratmandu/stairs3.jpg
The crow is looking great though!
I love tattoo art and the idea behind them, but I gotta say, good call on the crow tattoo. I mean, who knows if you'll feel the same way about it 20 years from now? ;)
